About Sabri Saad

With over 25 years of experience in the fashion and textile industry, Shabri Saad is a celebrated designer, lecturer, and heritage advocate. From his key roles at Noor Arfa Batik and Batek Malaysia Berhad to his impactful tenure as a senior lecturer at TARUMT, he has dedicated his career to preserving and innovating Malay textiles.

Shabri’s expertise extends to traditional Malay attire, backed by his Master’s thesis on Pakaian dan Adat Istiadat di Istana Kelantan. A member of renowned organizations like PERUPA, APS, and CITRA, his commitment to cultural heritage makes him a perfect addition to our panel.




About Fatimah Ismail


Textile expert (Traditional and Modern, Surface pattern design, Tapestry, Fashion). A former lecturer with 30 years of experience, Fatimah now spends her time consulting and sharing her knowledge to people and other organisations. She strongly believes that knowledge must be shared to the next generation and is happy to encourage anyone keen to learn more.
