Journey. “An act of traveling from one place to another,” or “A long and often difficult process change and development.” We are all on a journey, whether it is something enjoyable or not. What makes our journeys special? Us. Each journey is special to the individual riding it out each and every day. Some might say their journey is happy, full of life or others might say their journey is frustrating, filled with trials, never going to get to experience the full of life journey, and others might say their journey is a combination of the two. What is your journey? Are you ecstatic to see what lies ahead? Or on a journey that has too many test/trials causing a whirlwind of feelings? What type of journey am you on?

On 9 November 2024 , Chef Sapna will grace our dinner table at temu house for a night of sharing - her journey from a humble homemaker to globetrotting chef extraordinaire. Join Nowhere Kitchen 21 next month, you’ll never know what we might be dishing out… as you’re invited to be part of our improv dinner.

What Is Nowhere Kitchen & How Does It Work? A bunch of like-minded individuals have come together to curate the Nowhere Kitchen experience at temu house. There's always a great topic during dinner. There's always great speakers to kick start the discussions.


But, it's also on you.. the audience to be part of this collaborative dinner experience.

We need you to participate in this dinner by bringing a little bit of your pantry leftovers (not a half eaten sandwich please!)


The NK team will document these items and start working their magic in the kitchen. Trust us, they work wonders!


Meanwhile, at the front of house... our speakers will kick start some interesting conversations! And boy have we got a great line up for you this time round!


Chef Sapna Anand

Chef Sapna was born in Kerala and raised in Goa. Her passion for food was piqued when she relocated to San Francisco from India, where the dearth of restaurants in their vicinity and missing her mother's cooking necessitated her to start cooking at home.


Over time, Chef Sapna's culinary skills have evolved from scorching food on the grill to becoming a culinary instructor with a published cookbook. Her culinary world expanded upon arriving in Malaysia in 1999, where she began discovering the diverse food culture.


Her love for food led her to enroll in Le Cordon Bleu Bangkok’s Intensive Pastry Programme, where she gained newfound knowledge of western pastries and continues to enlivened time-tested flavors of her Kerala heritage.


She has since shared her daily culinary exploits on her Facebook page, taught cooking classes with @19 Culinary Studio, and hosted Fast Indian Cooking With Sapna on the Asian Food Channel.


Chef Sapna's passion centers around spices - their cultural aspects & disseminating knowledge; working with the Spice Board of India while serving as an external chef instructor at Le Cordon Bleu, Malaysia.


Recently, Chef Sapna has been leading food tours in her home country - diving in the streets and waterways of Kerala, ever looking forward to bringing her passion to new audiences.
