Coming of Age Camp: A Beautiful Beginning
Alright, mamas (and cool dads too) — it’s time for a real kind of glow-up. One that starts from the inside out.
We’re bringing you a 3-day experience for girls aged 9–14 to step into their next chapter with confidence, clarity and a whole lot of heart.
From body changes to emotional waves, social media noise to self-care rituals — this isn’t your average puberty talk. It’s warm. It’s creative. It’s empowering. And yup, it’s happening at the beautiful temu house.
What to expect:
Day 1 is all about understanding what’s happening inside — periods, hormones, bras, and all the body talk we wish we had at that age. We wrap it up with gentle journaling, posture tips, and a delicious tea session.
Day 2 dives into voice and self-expression — from social media myths to drawing ourselves as we truly are. We’ll explore trust, boundaries, and end with a sarong dance to build confidence through movement.
Day 3 is the soul day. Self-reflection, consent, positive affirmations, and a dreamy mandi bunga to celebrate growing up with grace.
Expect thoughtful conversations, fun activities, open discussions, journaling, art, dance, and so much more. Plus: flower teas, cakes, and good vibes all around.
Think of it as a mini rite of passage — held with love and a whole lot of girl power.
Reviews
Parent 1 The Coming of Age programme was such a beautiful experience for my daughter. Over three days, Hannah guided the girls through growing up, body changes, confidence, self-love, trust, and boundaries in such a gentle, fun, and age-appropriate way.
I really appreciated how topics that can feel awkward were handled with so much care and openness. My daughter came home feeling informed, confident and comfortable in her own skin. It’s clear how much heart went into this programme, and I’m so grateful she got to be part of it.

If there is one person you need entrust your kids with, it is definitely Hannah. She is very approachable, kept us informed on her approaches and methods, most importantly she does her work sincerely.’ 3-day coming of age’ camp helped enlighten my daughter to some of the delicate topics (puberty, safe touch etc) through fun games, journalling and heart to heart talks.

What is Miss Teaspoon
Miss Teaspoon is a warm and purpose-driven space for girls to grow into themselves — gently, confidently, and with grace.
Founded by a teacher with over 15 years of experience (and a big sister at heart), Miss Teaspoon was born from a deep love for guiding, listening, and helping girls feel seen during the tender and tricky tween years.
Through creative classes, weekend clubs, and coming-of-age experiences, we mix fun with feeling, manners with meaning, and social-emotional skills that carry on to adulthood.

Ms Hannah Tan from Miss Teaspoon
Hi, I’m Hannah Tan, mentor and founder of Miss Teaspoon, with over 16 years of experience working with children and families. In my journey as a teacher, trainer, and principal, I kept noticing the same quiet struggle in many girls: a longing to be heard, a place to belong, and a place to navigate the challenges of growing up.
That’s when I started Miss Teaspoon in 2011, a space where girls aged 7-17 can safely explore who they are, build confidence, and develop the emotional strength to navigate friendships, challenges, and the ups and downs of growing up. I designed a social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum tailored for Malaysian girls, adopted in 11 private international schools in the Klang Valley as extra curricular activities, reaching over 500 girls.
My mission is to help every girl feel seen, heard, and proud of who she is, as she grows up with the courage to speak, the confidence to stand tall, and the resilience to face the world ahead.
