About Abhilash Chandra

Abhilash Chandra is a talented and rising filmmaker from Malaysia, known for his work in directing, writing, producing, and editing. He is best known as the co-writer of Polis Evo 3 (2023), one of Malaysia’s most successful box-office films, directed by Syafiq Yusof. The movie earned over RM54 million, making it one of the country’s highest-grossing local films. In 2025, Abhilash continued his collaboration with Syafiq Yusof by co-directing and co-writing Blood Brothers: Bara Naga. The film quickly became another big hit, earning over RM76 million in just 33 days. His strong storytelling and emotional writing helped make the film a success with both audiences and critics. With his growing experience and successful projects, Abhilash Chandra is now seen as one of the most promising young filmmakers in Malaysia.

Blood Brothers: Bara Naga (2025) is a highly acclaimed Malaysian action-thriller directed by Syafiq Yusof and Abhilash Chandra. The film centers on elite bodyguards who become "blood brothers" but are torn apart by a deadly betrayal. It was a massive box office success, grossing over RM45 million within its first two weeks
