With the coming election, Nowhere Kitchen #08 takes inspiration from the women of the French Revolution of 1789.
As new ideas of individual rights, class and education percolated into society, a new breed of women were born - the salonnieres.
Evening gatherings hosted by them, provided an indirect platform beyond their household responsibilities; excerpting indirect influence in the world of politics and culture.
With that, NK08 invites you to a chatty evening of the re-imagination of (leftover) food, contemporary society and what we all can do to make Earth a better place to live in.
